GENTES: Generando ENTornos Emocionalmente Sostenibles
▶Summary
COVID-19 brought the world into a crisis and exposed the vulnerability of our ways of life, especially among the young, making their whole world and its scant certainties shake, generating a great feeling of bewilderment, loneliness, loss or anxiety. We highlighted the importance of contact with nature and valued what is important: care, collaboration, living with less, and we strengthened the use of digital communication. This reality made us reflect on our functioning as an association, and on how necessary it is to continue training ourselves to have a greater impact on the lives of young people. We see this crisis as an opportunity to start building a new future based on good living and sustainability, but at the same time we have seen ourselves to a certain extent unable to do so in a situation so uncertain. Under the motto "we must not return to normality, since normality was not normal", we want establish a work with another organization that, based on the exchange of knowledge and practices, consolidates our activity with the young people and fulfill the need to train and acquire skills to work with young people, to deepen and have a greater impact.
