Knowing Through Art
▶Summary
This project addressed both the needs of the youth to whom the youth workers of the participating entities dedicate their work, as well as the needs of these same educators. In the case of the former, the project focused especially on serving those coming from vulnerable environments and/or at risk of social exclusion, and was particularly dedicated to those who had artistic concerns and/or a motivation for art. Thus, the project proposed to apply the pedagogical and artistic expertise of the consortium of entities to accommodate the needs of these groups as holders of rights and responsibilities. This also boosts the work that both entities were already doing, reinforcing its quality and generating new tools that allow working on both critical actions and artistic expressions, while deepening knowledge about the 2030 agenda.

▶Impact
Result 1: The capacities and competencies of more than 6 youth trainers belonging to the participating entities have been strengthened, both in relation to their competencies related to artistic expressions, as well as in terms of their training for the realization and design of innovative learning experiences focussing on the current social challenges faced by youth and regarding the 2030 Agenda. Result 2: More than 50 young people have received training and carried out transformative initiatives through artistic expressions in order to raise awareness and drive social change towards the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda. Result 3: We have strengthened and promoted the consolidation of artistic associative movements among young people from different backgrounds and origins, who through sharing their artistic creations, found common cause and interests in denouncing and showing social challenges. All of them produced a total of 10 audiovisual pieces, whose theme referred to at least 1 Sustainable Development Goal.
