▶Objectives
We aimed to integrate current distance learning methods and technologies within our network, combining best practices with software and hardware solutions. This first-phase system was enhancing each partner's understanding of existing tools. The next goal was to introduce augmented reality (AR) pedagogy internationally in vocational education, enabling quality learning regardless of time and place. Teachers will gain expertise in AR, testing and adapting it to their contexts. The AR Platform will allow integration of AR technology in teaching activities, particularly in the heavy-duty vehicle sector. This will improve the learning experience, boosting student motivation and engagement. Our subsequent objective was to implement Extended Reality (XR) pedagogy in VET. XR uses 360-degree images, videos, or entirely virtual environments to add new dimensions to learning. It offers experiences of real places and situations, expanding students' worldviews and enabling novel movement between time and place. These immersive environments enhance the overall learning process. We tested these advanced learning environments and created a virtual study module, piloting it in the automotive sector.
