▶Objectives
We wanted to strengthen the partnership with our Spanish partner who offered expertise in KA2 projects and with our local partners who work with young people who have few job opportunities and sometimes lack of skills and qualifications, especially in the digital field. It also allowed them to have an intercultural opening and to have practical exchanges.Enabling rural youth to be able to increase their digital skills and reduce the digital divide. Indeed they master most of the time social networks even if they are not always aware of the impact of social networks on their professional life in terms of image. On the other hand they do not master the digital tools that serve in professional life or professional digital networks that can be a real asset in their CV and profile, to be attractive for a future employer. The period of covid has accentuated and profoundly changed this digital approach in the professional field with remote tools in particular. It has become essential to master them to have the best possible chance of finding an internship or a job.
▶Impact
In terms of results, this project allowed the CCPR to gain experience and skills in the governance of a KA2 project. It helped to strengthen the European dynamic and aimed at young people with fewer opportunities that was already set up thanks to the CES volunteer project since 2015.This also helped to strengthen the strategic partnership with our Spanish partner on this type of project. Strengthening local partnerships around this project on a European scale for the benefit of young people in our rural territories. The creation of a website with courses on digital tools accessible to young French and Spanish, free of charge. The opportunity for young people to develop their skills on digital tools and to have more job opportunities. Communication around this project for wide dissemination to the greatest number. Show young Europeans the concrete impact of Europe in their daily lives and develop their community spirit and solidarity, which are values carried by Europe.Participate in the reduction of the digital divide, particularly present in rural areas.
