du bercement aux mouvements
▶Summary
This European exchange follows two previous collaborations, also supported by the European Erasmus+ funds (operations KA201-004818_2 in 2014-2016 and KA201-037476 in 2017-2019) This third edition consolidates exchanges of practices between professionals from the two countries and offers an always innovative international educational base for the learning public. Indeed, this partnership served as an experience of international collaboration for students from the two conservatories. This allowed young student musicians at the end of their course to perform together in an incredible series of concerts, in each of the two countries. After the episodes of confinement and distance learning, this partnership has given students professional prospects so that they can regain self-confidence and plan for their studies. For both establishments, music was a corollary to the quality of the partnership.
▶Objectives
As with school education, the two conservatories provide recognition of learning results for participants in cross-border mobility of learners, in particular through the award of the Europass Mobility. They were able to : -Acquire and reveal a better knowledge of lullabies sung in two territories (Poitiers and Malaga). The students collected them and then arranged them and finally returned them. This made it possible to work on essential skills for students at the end of their course: knowing how to hear, write, create, and interpret. -Develop relational skills (communicate with partners, teachers, host family in another language). Be in relationship on a human and musical level. -Discover music lessons in another country. -Discover the specificities and cultural heritage of the reception structure (music and disability workshop, theater, dance, cultural visits, flamenco, mindfulness, etc.)
▶Activities
There were 3 activities that mobilized the partners. -The collection, arrangement and restitution of lullabies, with interactions between students and teachers from the two structures and a wide dissemination of the work as mentioned below. -A one-week mobility at the Grand Poitiers conservatory for 30 students and 6 teachers from Malaga from January 12 to 19, 2023 with a transnational meeting beforehand. -A one-week mobility at the Malaga conservatory for 30 students and 5 teachers from Poitiers from April 13 to 20, 2023 with a transnational meeting beforehand.
▶Impact
The deliverables of the operation take different formats: -Four concerts of restitution of arranged lullabies, in nurseries and nursery schools in Grand Poitiers in June 2023. -A restitution concert of the arranged lullabies, at the Malaga Conservatory in April 2023. -The production of a booklet+cd bringing together and presenting the arranged lullabies. The music on the CD is live recordings of the concerts. -During mobility in Poitiers and Malaga, series of concerts recorded by professionals (January and April 2023). -The creation of a YouTube channel to archive all the concerts, teasers and a 54-minute documentary: https://www.youtube.com/@dubercementauxmouvements (in Poitiers: 28 pieces distributed in 8 concerts and 6 locations, i.e. 2h30 of music. in Malaga: 2h30 of music, 37 pieces spread over 4 concerts). -Participation in the “Chamber Music Days” festival in Poitiers. -Obtaining a Europass mobility for 60 students and 11 teachers.
