Aller-vers : transformer les cadres pour l’inclusion de tous

The project was inspired by the observation that, although outreach practices are covered in training courses, they often present challenges when implemented by social workers and volunteers working with (young) people experiencing social exclusion. What's more, these practices are not systematically recognised and supported within the wider public policy framework. The complexity arises from the need to bridge the three interconnected dimensions: policy planning, institutional organisation and professional intervention on the ground, which makes effective implementation difficult. This leads to a number of unmet needs in most countries, particularly in terms of reducing the gaps mentioned above. The project has enabled us to identify and assess the gaps in current training, the gaps between training and practice and the gaps between the needs of individuals and the recognition of these needs by public policy, to improve the quality of training and methodologies in the field and to create a social dialogue between all stakeholders.

Our general objectives were to : -Reduce the gap between training and practice through adult education (whether they are volunteers, people undergoing retraining, continuing education, etc.) -Reduce the gap between social policies and professional practices -Implementing adult education and intervention strategies that strengthen coordination between institutions, national, regional and local authorities, social partners and civil society. -Combating isolation, withdrawal and the denial of rights to those most in difficulty -Create a network of researchers involved in the issue to develop the capacity to act. Operational objectives: -Make an inventory of existing studies and practices -Design a training module and integrate it into existing training courses -Train the trainers who will implement the module Create and test a support methodology and experiment with low-threshold services -Train adults who will implement the experiment (educators, volunteers, social workers, etc.) -Creation of a pedagogical toolkit and a common reference framework

As part of our project, we have implemented 4 main activities: -Capitalising on training content and outreach practices in partner countries -Designing and implementing a training module on outreach in social work training courses -The design and testing of an outreach methodology by professionals -The design of a pedagogical toolkit based on these elements. To accompany these activities, 2 learning mobilities were carried out: one to train the trainers who took part in the training modules on outreach, the other to train in the practical methodology of outreach in the field.

The results of our project : - A pedagogical toolkit: BRIDGES FOR SOLUTIONS IN (Y)OUT(H)REACH - Training Programme: Bridging Pathways with Inclusive and Transformative Outreach Frameworks - Methodological guide: The Cooperative Approach for Solving the Outreach Challenges of Target Groups - "Capitalisation" document capitalising on the outreach approach, policies, strategies and/or legislation for outreach work and outreach practices in the countries that took part in the project. Newsletters have been produced (4) to publicise the various productions.
