Objectives

The final objective was to improve digital support for social workers by dividing it into 3 phases: Identify the people concerned by digital exclusion and support them in developing digital skills, to promote their inclusion in society and reduce social inequalities. Recognise digital mediation as a cross-cutting role in the fields of social intervention. Broad recognition of the ‘role’ of digital mediator among all social work professionals and trainers throughout Europe. Combating the digital divide and the social inequalities it generates, which can be observed throughout Europe. And in 4 Themes: the RGPD, digital tools, social networks and digital ethics. Social workers not only need to understand digital tools, they also need to know how to use them effectively to meet the varied needs of the people they support. This means developing skills that are not limited to technical mastery of the tools, but also encompass an understanding of the social, economic and cultural issues that shape access to digital technology.

Activities

5 transnational meetings were organised to ensure proper monitoring of project activities. All the partners took part in the activities, which were led by a lead partner supported by a co-pilot. Virtual meetings were used to coordinate actions and monitor progress. The project produced three major results, accompanied by six training activities and five dissemination events, to generate knowledge on digital divides and develop practical tools for students and professionals. Active communication and promotional activities, such as the creation of a visual identity, a website and a newsletter, also helped to raise public awareness of the importance of the results. The results were disseminated through dissemination events in each partner country and scientific publications, but also through more targeted actions aimed at specific audiences and the creation of a specific platform for publishing the project's results. This has ensured that the content is widely accessible in French, English, Greek and Romanian.
