Summary

This project is initially part of an educational continuity project. Faced with the health situation linked to COVID-19 and the measures put in place such as confinement, closure of classes, etc.,...

Objectives

It aimed to offer the school community of participating schools the opportunity to develop, among teachers, educational skills in the digital field in distance education, to enable ALL students to acquire (by promoting equality for all through to content adapted to the student's difficulty) digital skills, to strengthen the school/family bond by maintaining effective communication, to arouse the interest of parents of students in school life, and to modify the behavior of the entire school community, for the benefit of the fight against global warming, making students aware that they belong to the same European community, with a multi-ethnic heritage.

Impact

After meeting virtually, students from partner schools engaged in this project in class and remotely, and subsequently developed digital skills. The teachers were able to offer their students quality distance learning, integrating digital technology and were therefore able to cope with school closure situations (strikes, rodent control, etc.). Parents, for their part, were equipped to stay in touch with the school and support their children in their education. The project's Google Classroom is freely available to allow schools that did not participate in the project to have access to the resources. The school communities adopted eco-citizen actions to combat global warming and the students felt European.
