▶Objectives
The project's primary objective is to significantly enhance opportunities for vocational training learners and professionals in the blue economy sectors at both national and EU levels, along with other target group members. Through collaboration with experienced entrepreneurs and stakeholders, the project aims to create a platform fostering increased opportunities and new partnerships between businesses and support providers. Partners in each country will work towards achieving numerical targets for indirect beneficiaries and spreading knowledge of the project's goals and results. This strategy aims to raise awareness about competency development opportunities for professionals in the blue economy sectors. By connecting entrepreneurs and stakeholders, the project seeks to establish a collaborative ecosystem that not only benefits vocational learners but also contributes to the overall growth of blue economy sectors. The focus is on creating an environment conducive to forming new partnerships, thereby supporting businesses and professionals.
▶Activities
“Blue Tourism for VET Providers as NGOs” is a two-year strategic partnership project. 4 different TPMs were designed to achieve the project goals and objectives. These are Kick Off Metting, TPM-2, TPM-3 and the final event respectively. The C1 staff training was organized as an LTT activity with as many as 4 participants from each country involved. Activities included mobile app training, guides and digital outings. In addition to these activities, there are 2 main dissemination activities. These activities include guides and project dissemination products. We were unable to organize the Meeting in Cyprus because we were “victims” of several postponements, at the request of the partners. And we were unable to obtain an extension of activities from the French Agency.
▶Impact
The novelty of the theme in public opinion aroused great interest and curiosity. This made the project impact different target groups and at different levels through local, regional, national and international initiatives and actions as part of its overall activities and results. This resulted in a multiplier effect at these levels. The use of free intellectual productions (educational guide and mobile learning application) also relies on networking and collaboration between different actors to facilitate their dissemination at local, regional and national levels and even in partner countries at the European and international. In addition, it is expected to exert influence on local and national authorities, as well as supranational bodies. On the other hand, these intellectual productions will be available in 6 languages (translation in progress for the 05 other languages at the moment), which will facilitate influence at the European level. The most desirable effect is to use the project results at different levels and provide solutions to the lack of entrepreneurship education in the blue tourism sector and reach a wide range of relevant organizations and linked to the target audience. In order to achieve the defined impact, we are committed to involving a large number of stakeholders from all participating countries representing the different profiles defined above in the main project activities such as design, development, verification, the dissemination and use of the project. In addition, the project reached thousands of interested parties in other European countries through the creation of an extensive network as a result of the cooperation of the partners “Blue Tourism for VET Providers as NGOs”. This network created by a wide range of stakeholders will encourage the dissemination, transmission, adaptation, improvement and use of the project's achievements and results at least three years after the end of the project. The intention is to contribute to the fight against unemployment and support entrepreneurship with the products produced within the project.
