Objectives

The digital transformation of healthcare through the implementation of Health 4.0 offers enormous benefits in terms of quality, efficiency, cost, and personalized services. Thus, the EUcare4.0 project aims to support the digital transformation of healthcare in the EU by developing the digital skills necessary to apply Health 4.0 in the mental health sector. The project will also contribute to the development of skills in disaster and pandemic scenarios, addressing current needs related to the coronavirus crisis. To achieve this goal, the EUcare4.0 partnership will produce an innovative training program, courses, guidelines, assessment tools, and certification, as well as an online learning space with free access to training materials and case studies on Health 4.0 technologies.

Activities

The EUcare4.0 project follows the Project Cycle Management (PCM) approach, viewing it as a series of activities aiming to achieve defined objectives within set timelines and quality standards. It undergoes specific phases: 1. Planning (completed): Identifying EU healthcare needs, analyzing skills, reviewing digital technology applications, involving target group representatives, 2. Solution Development: Designing 'Introduction to Health 4.0 for Mental Health Specialists,' EUcare4.0 training programs, modules, and online learning space with case studies, guidelines,. 3. Implementation and Testing: Developing modular training components and the online learning space, testing its functionality. 4. Exploitation and Dissemination: Preparing dissemination plans, creating the project website, establishing social media channels, producing newsletters. Impact

The EUcare4.0 project has achieved significant milestones: 1. R1: The publication offering insights into Health 4.0 and its technologies in the mental health sector is finalized, available in five languages as an Open Educational Resource. 2. R2: Innovative curriculum and content focused on Health 4.0 for mental health have been developed in five languages as OER. 3. R3: A functional online learning space includes an introduction to Health 4.0, case studies, training modules, trainer guidelines, and assessment tools in five languages. Quantitatively: - Established project visual identity, social media profiles, - Produced a project brochure in five languages. - Developed planning documents covering management, quality assurance, evaluation, dissemination ... Qualitatively: - Raised awareness among VET and healthcare professionals about Health 4.0. - Improved knowledge among education leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders about the critical role of Health 4.0. - Recognized knowledge and skills gained by project staff through information exchange and knowledge transfer. - Observed expanded educational offerings from involved providers. - Established new cooperation at local, regional, and European levels.
