L'ÉCOLOGIE DANS LE CYCLE D'APPRENTISSAGE PROFESSIONNEL : PENSONS HORS DES SENTIERS BATTUS, PENSONS HORS DE LA POUBELLE, RECYCLONS !
▶Summary
Following the COVID-related confinements in 2021, the teaching staff at Lycée Jean Moulin identified a need among pupils for more participatory teaching aids and methods. This project was born of this observation, the desire of the teaching staff at Lycée Jean Moulin and their involvement in ecological and intercultural projects. The Lycée Jean Moulin approached Côtes d'Armor Warmie Mazurie and Résia to build this project. Little by little, we developed this project with our partnerships. To put this project together, we drew on the experience of the Côtes d'Armor Warmie Mazurie association, which runs several Erasmus+ projects and is recognised throughout the region for the quality of its work. For RESIA and most of the participants, this was their first experience of a complex KA2 Erasmus+ project, and a first experience at all for RESIA, the Italian and Polish secondary schools and the Tunisian partners. We felt that this project met the needs of young people from the Lycée Jean Moulin in France, who have fewer opportunities, and that it brought together young people from different social backgrounds who would certainly never have met otherwise.
▶Objectives
In carrying out this project, we had a number of objectives: to involve learners in a project in which they are active players as part of their vocational training, and to make the training course attractive. We wanted to develop young people's citizenship, their openness to the European Union, international cooperation and different cultures. We wanted to contribute to young people's employability and prevent them from dropping out of school. Our aim was also to bring together young people from different social backgrounds and cultural origins who might not otherwise have met. To achieve this, we wanted to rely on a network of partners to highlight ecological solutions to combat climate change and preserve the environment on our own scale, with the 9 partners from the 4 countries involved in this project. We had planned to create spaces for debate on the world of tomorrow (based on the subjects of this project), and we wanted to organise dissemination events where young people could present their initiatives and inspire others to take action.
