For several years, the Bordeaux Rock association has been working for and with young people around its speciality, the music documentary, in order to act in the field of education. This format is used as an educational tool because it is a vector of societal themes. In view of the success of these pedagogical devices (screenings, debates, workshops), the association wished to mix the audiences of young Europeans in an intercultural dynamic. Thanks to the training of the young staff of Bordeaux Rock in the field of image education and the setting up of a youth exchange between high school students from Riga and Bordeaux, partly supervised by the young people of the association Bordeaux Rock, we wanted the young target audience of this project to develop their capacities of analysis and reflection through the music documentary. The goal was to stimulate creativity via several methods of pedagogical approach which link theory and practice, in particular within the framework of the creation of a European youth jury prize during Musical Ecran 2022, the objective being to bring pedagogical tools to the youth in education and training.
