Let me be your tour guide

The project was registered because during the pandemic, and with the development of technology and a new way of education, the need for digital content and a mobile application was realized. The created digital contents will be published on youtube and will be available to anyone who is interested in them. We believe that many teachers will use them in their lectures, especially when processing new material. The mobile application will be available on google play. Tourists and hosts of the cities will be able to get a quality guide to the sights of the included cities without additional payment.

By implementing the project, we wanted to achieve the education of students in the field of technology, informatics, visual arts and cultural heritage. We wanted the students to get to know their heritage and the values of their country better, and to master new skills in collecting photos and video materials, as well as in creating accompanying texts for digital content, while getting to know the heritage. The goal was also the practical application of the English language that all students learn at school, but this is how they improved their knowledge of a foreign language during mobility and the creation of digital content. It is also very important that during mobility and communication with students of their generation, students learned a lot about different ways of life and thus opened their horizons and got rid of many prejudices.

Activities related to visual arts and IT were implemented in the project. During mobility, students learned how to shoot with a drone, develop VR glasses, record sounds, make videos and use different available applications for creating digital content.

The results of the project are: a common mobile application for tourist guidance in the cities included in the project. Then the digital contents of individual landmarks in the included cities. Project website with all project results. The result is also the acquisition of new knowledge by the students: drone recording, camera recording, sound recording and video production
