Blue and Green hand in hand
▶Summary
We have multiple goal for applying for this project. First of all we would like to widen our kids and even teachers’s view and perspective on the world, meet new people, be familiar with their culture, customs and tradition. Furthermore in our accelerating world we want to form kids’ approach to the environment, develop their eco friendly attitude, form their relationship towards their environment. Children need to understand the importance of preserving the environment. Learning about sustainability encourage them to minimize negative impact on the panet. Our concrete needs were to get to know the good practice of other nations experiences, change ideas and implement them into our everyda life and practice at home. Kids who are environmentally aware are more likely to understand the limited availability of natural resources. This knowledge lead to responsible habits like reduce the consumption of water and energy, minimizing waste, recycling. By understanding their role in environmental protection, kids become more likely to engage in environmentally friendly behavior and influance others. For us as teachers crucially important to see model and good practices from other countries which are supposed to be motivating.
▶Objectives
Our pivotal objective is to educate kids to save nature, planet and of course their narrower surroundings. Following eco-friendly lifestyle can be useful for both individual and broader community as well, not to talk about our planet. Our aim is to enhance kids’ lifelong eco friendly habits. Students who learn about environment and practice eco friendly behaviour are more likely to carry these habits into adulthood. We wanted to study other countries’ eco-friendly practices such as recycling, reducing, reusing, minimizing waste. When kids adopt these habits, they actively participate in mitigating negative effects of environmental pollution and what’s more they will appreciate the importance of water, energy, natural resources, leading to responsible consumption and reduced waste.
