Respect the Nature!
▶Summary
First of all, we planned to find new methods to teach science, maths and technology in new interdisciplinary ways which enhance the motivation and interest of students and practical skills and knowledge. Secondly, we were interested in getting familiar with new culture mainly which partly different from our one. Thirdly, we were willing to share our experience and methods in our strongest field of STEAM teaching. Furthermore, we expected to learn how to create useful STEAM lesson plans and curriculums. Moreover, we expected from the project to strengthen the consciences of the responsibility of environment.
▶Objectives
1. To create opportunities for integration of cross-cullicular cooperation among teachers and students. 2. Stimulating curiosity and creativity by linking STEAM subjects to nature based learning. 3. To increase the acquisition of skills and students progress in STEAM subjects 4. To foster students’ employability through upgrading of soft skills. 5. To intensify the cross-border mobility rate in partner schools through Erasmus + exchange project. 6. To enhance intercultural awareness, tolerance and respect for cultural diversity. 7. To be able to plan and achieve STEAM lessons and curriculums.

Nature based STEAM teaching /virtual meeting/: Theory of STEAM /presentation/, logo design and voting, website, sample STEAM lessons, nature based maths exercises, video about STEAM maths Nature based Art /real meeting/: art, maths, craft, science, music lessons, sharing our good example for integrating art, IT, science, history and English in a History oral exam, robotic competition, Hungaricum party.Budapest trip, Nature-based Maths /real meeting/: sample STEAM lessons and lesson plans of maths, biology, robotic and craft, Complex STEAM project called Map tour with robots Nature-based science and engineering /virtual meeting/STEAM project curriculums / experiments, videos, gardening project. Nature based Technology / real meeting/ Lessons: Sunpowered car, Shape drawing wit 3D pencils, Thermo-energy experiment, Making pencil case,Creating a presentation of the obtained knowledge of STEAM education, Creating final presentation to disseminate our project work.
▶Impact
Common logo, own website, STEAM lesson plans: Maths, biology, geography, history, robotic, science. Presentation of our obtained experiences of STEAM education. First it was difficult for us to use STEAM ideas, however finally we learnt together via our practice the rules of STEAM work and all partners became able to plan and achieve STEAM lessons. In a presentation we summerised all useful experiences we had during the project and we share 8 STEAM projects and one curriculum for a summer camp. Finally we made a dissemination presentation, too.
