▶Objectives
With the implementation of the project, our goal was to initiate a mindset shift in vocational economic education, shifting the focus from frontal teaching to non-formal education. We aimed to support vocational economic education with project-based methods, enabling instructors to employ techniques that enhance students' entrepreneurial competencies. Digital platforms provide opportunities for students to gain interactive and hands-on experiences, thereby increasing the efficiency and relevance of the educational process. The development of training plans aimed to adapt to the challenges of the labour market, enabling participants to successfully enter and thrive in a competitive employment environment. In addition to enhancing their professional knowledge, participants also develop their soft skills competencies.
▶Activities
During the project, partner institutions carried out effective management activities to ensure the successful completion of the project. We implemented two training activities, expanding the repertoire of non-formal and project-based methods for the individuals involved in the development. In Hungary and Slovakia, we introduced the project's outcomes to representatives of local educational institutions through local events, and we showcased the completed products to international and domestic participants at an international conference.
▶Impact
As a result of the project, innovative project-based training and occupational plans have been developed in the field of economics, entrepreneurship, and administrative support training, taking into account the European labour market demands. The occupational plans, integrated into the training programs of educational institutions, contribute to the development of students' competencies, focusing on project thinking, teamwork, and entrepreneurial mindset, as well as enhancing soft skills such as communication, flexibility, time management, creativity, and empathy. As part of the project, vocational instructors were also trained, enabling them to utilize the acquired knowledge as multipliers in other sectors. The developed materials provide digital solutions for instructors to facilitate more effective processing of professional knowledge. The project resulted in a product consisting of five training plans, each comprising ten occupational plans with relevant attachments. All products are available in Hungarian, English, and Slovak languages.
