Summary

ProjectMeOut was conceived to remedy key hindrances hampering youth engagement in European projects, particularly Erasmus+ KA105. Recognizing substantial deficits in information accessibility and project writing acumen, our initiative aims to augment awareness, elevate project writing proficiency, and institute a dedicated online platform. In seeking to address these critical needs, we strive to empower youth with the essential tools for active citizenship, initiative, and entrepreneurship. By bridging existing gaps in knowledge and skills, ProjectMeOut endeavors to cultivate a generation of youth capable of making impactful contributions to their communities through meaningful participation in Erasmus+ projects. The initiative serves as a strategic response to identified deficiencies, aspiring to equip young individuals with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources for transformative engagement and positive community involvement.

Objectives

ProjectMeOut is an ambitious venture initiated to empower youth organizations, workers, and individuals. The core mission is to augment project writing skills through a multifaceted approach. This includes the creation of an innovative online platform, development of educational materials, and facilitating practical project writing experiences. The project stands out by not only increasing awareness of European project funds but also by providing comprehensive training on grants, programs, and project execution. With a focus on quality improvement and increased participation, ProjectMeOut aims to fill crucial gaps, especially for newcomer organizations. The broader vision encompasses supporting local NGOs, fostering active citizenship, and instilling a profound understanding of European youth work. The project anticipates a transformative impact, equipping the youth with valuable skills and knowledge for meaningful participation and engagement.

Activities

The project unfolded with the creation of essential outputs, including the Project Writing Platform (PR1) — an online support hub for youth and organizations involved in Erasmus+ mobilities, featuring a chatbot, help center, and innovative materials. Another pivotal result was the Handbook (PR2), a comprehensive guide developed during training, offering a step-by-step approach to teaching project writing. Mobility Sessions comprised the C1 session, where partner experts collaborated over nine days to brainstorm content, design training schemes, and contribute to the platform. C2 focused on Training for Youth Workers, educating 35 participants through workshops and practical sessions over ten days. C3, the Learners Mobility, provided 35 youth and 11 youth workers with a ten-day exchange experience, emphasizing project writing skills using the platform. Multiplier Events saw the realization of 18 Project Labs across partner countries, involving local communities and disseminating project outputs. Transnational Meetings, encompassing the kick-off, mid-term evaluation, and a final evaluation meeting, played a crucial role in ensuring effective collaboration and monitoring project progression.
