This project was designed to address the European Commission's concerns regarding the need to improve training programmes for coaches, trainers, teachers, and managers. The core objective of the project was to create a comprehensive training programme that would directly improve stakeholders’ understandings of bullying as well as skills in responding to it – and would actively promote inclusion and social cohesion in sports in respect of: Gender Equity: Despite progress in advancing women's participation in sports, women and girls remain underrepresented and frequently overlooked. Special Needs: In alignment with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the project emphasised the rights of persons with disabilities to participate in sporting activities on an equal basis with others. Migrants and Minorities: The project recognised that sport, particularly culturally specific sports, can serve as a vital means for immigrants, minorities, and the host society to engage positively with one another.
