The main objectives that the project wanted to achive and achieved are: Updating skills and competences of Intercultural mediators and social operators according to the real needs of UFMs for their social inclusion Development, assessment and evaluation tools for piloting training and practice, in order to ensure its effective compliance to the identified needs and expectations Raising awareness among policy makers, stakeholders and all those involved in social inclusion of UFMs issues of the necessity for the systematic tailored trained to ensure effective support from the intercultural mediators and social operators to UFMs • To provide the groundwork for enhanced sustainability of future UFMs social inclusion Development of a tailored training methodology and learning toolkit to foster the skills and competences updating of social assistants and intercultural mediators Empowering the capacity and ability of the social assistants and intercultural mediators to work and interact in an efficient way with the UFMs Raising the level of awareness of the UFM on the relevance and importance of their labour, civic and social inclusion Empowering the capacity of the beneficiary organization to work at international level

The activities implemented by the project are: Activity 1 Consultation workshop: consultation with the UFMs, in Bulgaria and in Italy, in order to identify and to assess their needs and expectation for social integration. Collection of questionnaires, both for the UFMs and for the social assistants, reporting the results gained. Activity 2 Training program Design and eLearning toolkit development: Based on the results gained from the previous activity a tailored training program for skills and competences updating of social assistants was developed. A learning toolkit and training methodology were prepared and developed. Activity 3 Piloting Training and Validation: social operators and intercultural mediators in Italy (n.10 participants) and Bulgaria (n.12 participants) were trained in the training modules previously developed. Customer and evaluation questionnaires of the participants in the piloting training were collected. N.2 consultation workshop with key stakeholders and representatives of UFMs for the validation of the piloting training results were implemented. A final validation/recognition, according to the ECVET system, of the piloting training and its training program and methodology was made.

The concrete project results gained and outputs produced are: N.1 assessment of needs and expectations analysis of the UFMs on their main challenges, needs and expectations for their social, labour and civil inclusion N. 6 social assistants consulted in Italy and n. 3 in Bulgaria n. 17 questionnaires collected in Italy and n.13 of questionnaire collected in Bulgaria, from UFMs that participated in the consultation event, containing their ideas impressions N.2 Piloting training (in Italy and Bulgaria) were implemented with n.10 participants from Italy and n.12 participants from Bulgaria. N. 10 questionnaires collected in Italy and n.12 questionnaires collected in Bulgaria, from social operators and intercultural mediators that participated in the Piloting training, containing their ideas impressions. N.3 consultation workshop (on 30/10/2022 - 16/11/2022 - 14/12/2022) with key stakeholders representatives of UFMs were implemented in Italy and n. 1 consultation workshop implemented in Bulgaria. N.1 Validation and recognition of the learning outcomes produced, of the training program and training methodology developed and tested, were produced. N.1 Final report on evaluation/reporting of project activities was produced.
