GENERAL OBJECTIVE of the New Jedi project is to identify a new professional figure who will acquire the skills required by the changing job market in the food delivery sector, who will be able to provide companies with consulting and management services, with multi-sectoral know-how in economics, logistics, food and especially in environmental sustainability. Specific objectives include: 1) Collect, develop and disseminate good practices in the Food Delivery sector that will be functional for the environmental, but also economic sustainability of companies 2) Elaborate and implement an IFP course related to Sustainability and Food Delivery Expert, competent professionals and able to generate a concrete positive impact in the companies in which they will be placed; 3) To create a network of European stakeholders to promote the development and dissemination of the new professional figure, as well as employment opportunities for the people trained; 4) To improve the employability of young people and NEETs through an empowerment pathway built around the training course, the mobility experience abroad in a host company and the recognition of the skills acquired

The activities implemented by the New Jedi project were: - Mapping good practices and skills needed by the new professional figure as well as critical issues impacting the food delivery system - 1 international workshop for the definition of the training course, to offer a balanced mix of professional skills and that trains professionals capable of making a concrete impact on the companies in which they will be placed through an improvement in the economic performance of environmental impact - The training course to train the new professional figure of the Food Delivery Expert, through MOOCs; - At the end of the training, what was learned was put into practice with a mobility experience abroad at companies active in the food delivery sector to verify the effectiveness of the course implemented - Analysis of results and dissemination of the MOOC - National multiplier events - Dissemination and communication activities. - Design, development and launch of an APP.

The results of New Jedi included: - increased skills in environmental sustainability and countering climate change among stakeholders through activities targeting direct and indirect beneficiaries, communication activities, dissemination -mapping of best practices and necessary skills related to food delivery, as well as critical issues impacting the sector. - Identification of the innovative professional figure of the “Food Delivery Expert” and related skills to be developed, through the development and implementation of a training course capable of improving the skills and employability of participants - Increased flexibility of training opportunities in the VET field, thanks to the course in MOOC format usable regardless of factors such as economic difficulties, geographical or related to additional commitments resulting from the work or daily activities of future participants - Realization of a work-based learning experience, - Realization of a NEW JEDI website, MOOC platform and APP.
