Objectives

The general objective is to contribute, with effective methods and tools, to the development of a common EU system for managing the labour inclusion of third-country migrants legally residing in the EU, and to the development of the European culture of hospitality and solidarity, through the construction and testing of educational and intercultural practices, aimed at EU employers and migrants. In particular, specific objectives are: - identify and describe in a Handbook the paths and methods for the development of intercultural skills by employers of migrants - develop the intercultural skills of EU employers, through the creation of curricula suited to the needs identified and tailor-made - develop the key and professional skills of migrants, through training courses for work inclusion - implement and disseminate the use of the EU Blue Card, through the production of Guidelines on the procedures for issuing and using it by the various Member States - increase the ability of employers and qualified migrants to access and use the EU Blue Card, through the construction and use of the Job&Intercultural App.

Activities

The project implemented activities aimed at improving the capacity for socio-labor inclusion of third-country migrants in EU companies, through the development of intercultural skills and the capacity for inclusion of migrants in companies of employers and through the development of key and professional skills of migrants. In particular, the following activities were implemented: A1. Project Management, with the management and control of expenses and the chronological development of the project according to the principles of representation, transparency, democracy and quality A2. Monitoring, Quality and Risk Management, overseeing the process of assurance and control of project quality (Quality Control) to ensure that the results were compliant with the pre-established standards, through continuous monitoring of quality through KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and metrics A3. Production of project results. In particular: A3.1 Development of the Manual on the Training of Intercultural and Socio-Emotional Skills (PR1), with the description of the substantial elements to establish a theoretical basis and training methods suitable for the development of socio-emotional skills of employers and professionals working with migrants. A3.2 Development of the Training Curriculum on the Intercultural Skills of European Employers (PR.2), with the creation of a training program on intercultural and socio-emotional skills aimed at employers working with migrants, based on the concepts of interculturality and socio-emotional intelligence. A3.3 Development of Inclusive Training Labs on Key and Professional Skills of Migrants (PR3). The Clab has planned the development of a training program on various skills (linguistic, civic, IT and digital, personal skills of self-esteem and empowerment, professional skills) available on a platform developed specifically for online learning activities (Learning Hub). A3.4 Development of the Guidelines for access to the EU Blue Card (PR4): document in both printable and digital versions that collects all the relevant information for its dissemination in the EU economic system. A3.5 Development of the Job&Intercultural App (PR5), with the construction and testing of an Application downloadable from the main Apple and Google Play stores, dedicated to providing information on the EU Blue Card tool and its advantages, as well as job proposals/offers, with descriptions of the profiles and professional qualifications, presented by companies/employers and/or other bodies that deal with the work inclusion of migrants and/or employment services C.1 – Joint training activity of staff for the implementation of training activities relating to PR2 and PR3. A.4 Communication and Dissemination, with the implementation of in-person and online communication activities for the dissemination of the activities and project results achieved.

Impact

The expected results of the project, divided by main activities are the following: A1. Project Management: Project Manual, Manual for accounting and administrative management, Agenda and Report, Attendance sheets, Videos and photos; Half-yearly and final reports, to-do lists and Work Plans; Project reports to examine timing, budget, methodological issues, measurement of expected and achieved results A2. Project Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Risk Management Manual; Evaluation reports and materials at process, results and Impact levels. A3. Production of project results: PR.1 Manual on the Training of intercultural and socio-emotional skills, with the description of the substantial elements to establish a theoretical basis and training methods appropriate to the development of socio-emotional skills of employers and professionals working with migrants. PR.2 Training curriculum on intercultural skills of European employers, with the creation of a training program based on the concepts of interculturality and socio-emotional intelligence. PR3 Inclusive training laboratories on key and professional skills of migrants (linguistic, civic, digital, operational skills) available on a platform developed specifically for online learning activities (Learning Hub). PR4 Guidelines for access to the EU Blue Card: document in both printable and digital versions that collects all the relevant information for its dissemination in the economic system. PR5 Job&Intercultural App, with the definition and testing of an Application downloadable from the main Apple and Google Play stores, dedicated both to information on the EU Blue Card tool and its advantages, and dedicated to job proposals/offers, with descriptions of profiles and professional qualifications, presented by companies/employers C.1 L.T.T.A: n. 13 VET operators/project staff have acquired SEL methodologies and CBL teaching techniques for the development of the training activities related to PR2 and PR3. A4. Dissemination and Exploitation: Communication and dissemination plan, project logo and website, etc…
