▶Objectives
The Digital WBL project partnership has achieved these main objectives: Innovation of pedagogical approaches and a quality framework that effectively supports the digital transformation of WBL experiences. Developed the 'Digital VET Trainer Competence Framework,' a modular framework of emerging digital competences for VET trainers, essential for innovating WBL methodologies, laboratory and online experiential learning. Encouraged VET trainers to acquire specific competences through the 'Deal with Digital WBL' course, enabling them to design, deliver, evaluate and certify competences learned through Digital WBL experiences. Implemented the 'Deal with Digital Work-based Learning' training platform, with over 50 hours of training content that effectively integrates digital technologies into WBL experiences. Created stimulating and inclusive opportunities for the professional development of VET Trainers, with webinars, workshops and accessible training materials. Enriched and made learning opportunities based on Digital WBL more attractive for learners, as demonstrated by the case studies and testimonials collected.
▶Activities
The project established the 'Digital VET Trainer Competence Framework' defining emerging digital skills for VET Trainers, complemented by self-assessment tools for these competences. We created a joint curriculum outlining necessary learning outcomes for designing, delivering, validating, and certifying competences through Digital WBL experiences. Our work resulted in innovative training materials featuring modern methods, pedagogical approaches, and online-accessible digital tools. Central to this effort was the implementation of the 'Deal with Digital Work-based Learning' collaborative e-learning platform, offering over 50 hours of high-quality training content. The training pathway for trainers was successfully tested with participants from various European countries, while Digital WBL methodologies were piloted with students, with results documented in case studies on our website. Finally, we produced a detailed blueprint with an action plan for transforming VET programs.

Key outputs are: IO1: Guidelines for designing blended VET training pathways: Digital WBL Learning and Remote Experiential Activities IO2.1: Emerging digital competence model for VET Trainers focused on the design, delivery, assessment, and certification of competences acquired through Digital WBL IO2.2: Blueprint for developing digital, design, delivery, assessment, and certification competences for VET trainers in blended learning paths IO3: Cross-media platform with 7 educational learning modules, 1 Entry test IO4: 'Deal with Digital Work-based Learning' Trainer Training Course IO5: Toolkit for implementing Digital WBL in VET students' training paths and within local territories We also developed an awareness and engagement program for VET Trainers in the Digital WBL Ambassador program, positioning them as active witnesses of digital innovation in the WBL system. Several of these trainers participated in the Learning Teaching Training activity held in Germany at DHBW. The project conducted two Multiplier Events to promote participation and implementation of the developed tools. We also tested a micro-credential issuance system for specific Digital WBL competences.
