The objectives of the SIMPL4ALL project were the following: • inclusion, equal opportunities and non-discrimination; • new methods and approaches to learning and teaching. The SIMPL4ALL partnership, to achieve them, focused on: • creating accessible teaching tools and materials adapted to the characteristics, methods and speed of learning of each person; • encouraging the participation and protagonism of learners; • developing enabling skills in 'inclusive learning mediators' and non-formal contexts (=outside school!). • promoting the collaboration of end-users in constructing 'tailor-made' learning materials.

The SIMPL4ALL project accomplished several activities during its lifespan: 1. Involvement of final users. The project focused on co-defining the users 'needs and creating the most effective learning support. We organised National/local focus groups with self-advocates and collected feedback from the product users before finalising the versions. 2. Training for trainers. We managed two joint staff training events to support the products' creation in simplified language and to test/pilot SIMPL4ALL products with end users. 3. Development of learning/teaching products and guides. We realised products and guides in 6 languages (English, French, German, Italian, Slovenian, and Spanish). They are available on the project website. 4. Testing and validation of products. We conducted testing and validation in 6 participating countries, with feedback collected from 316 participants. 5. Dissemination of products. We launched Dissemination and Outreach through the SIMPL4ALL website and with face-to-face and virtual events in Italy, France, Belgium, Slovenia, Austria, and Spain after the validation of the products. To support the production stage, the Consortium provided: - A Management Action Plan to manage and guide the use of resources within the partnership (led by Enaip FVG). - A Communication and Dissemination Plan to foster a coordinated communication strategy responsive to the needs of the stakeholders (led by Les Apprimeurs). - A Quality Plan to enrich the Sustainability Plan and collect evidence for the Final Report (led by ITE Network).

The SIMPL4ALL project has yielded the following concrete results: A. Learning materials and tools in simplified language, tailored to different target groups: - 1 Manual on simplified language in 6 languages (English, French, German, Italian, Slovenian, and Spanish) - 52 pedagogical tools, Easy to Read (EtR) and Easy to Use (EtU) based on the EntreComp set of competencies, offering 14 learning units, 14 practical lessons, 19 tips, and 5 e-books on exemplary stories (plus 2 Special Olympics editions in French and Italian) - 1 Manual on Learning Mediation for All based on the 5 inclusion dimensions of John O'Brien and the Person-Centered Approach, with 4 Quick guides for families, peers, IvET trainers, and school teachers - 6 video tutorials for Vocational Education and Training job orientation, employing video modeling principles to demonstrate simple professional tasks in easy sequences - a multilanguage website with tools and tips, downloadable for free, adaptable and modifiable according to the Creative Commons licence policy, and available at the end of the project lifespan. B. Promotion of active participation of learners and end users in the co-definition and co-design of the products: - 4 VET students participated as 'actors for a day' in the video modelling activity and also collaborated in the post-production phase, ultimately becoming Inclusion Ambassadors within the Erasmus project SIMPL4ALL. - 63 advocates took part in focus groups dedicated to co-creating the Learning Mediation 4 All Manual. These advocates are people with disabilities, learning difficulties, or overcoming other social or linguistic barriers, along with their families, meaningful adults, or peers. - 316 end-users shared their feedback on products, validating and finalizing them according to their suggestions and feedback. C. New skills in 'inclusive learning mediation' with simplified language -37 trainers, tutors, learning mediators, and facilitators were trained in two learning, teaching, and training activities in Maribor (Slovenia) and Mons (Belgium) on how to use simplified language and how to implement this method with the Pedagogical toolkit in classes or with the end-users; -4 quick guides devoted to learning mediation in formal, non-formal and informal contexts, based on the experience and focus groups with the self-advocates; -22 articles on Simplified language and learning inclusion hosted on the simpl4all.eu website.
