The Project stems from the need to experiment, develop skills and methodologies for cultural operators at an international level for the involvement of families with children in museums and places of culture, in particular museums that talk about significant themes of our recent history. The project was born from the encounter between two networks, the Lilliput network, an Italian one whose mission is to make museums places of reference for families, and the ICSC-Europe network (46 members), which collects "sites of conscience" or places that bear witness of central themes for civic consciousness in our society. The project aims to make museums and memorial sites places of aggregation, training and activism for families with children, places of learning for future generations.
