Objectives

This project aims to improve civic and citizenship education, to enhance the qualification of teachers in order to foster CCE: participation and ESD of young people across Europe. We aim to improve Inclusive strategies, gender parity and respect of the environment which have been a transversal care in all steps. The project supported greater European understanding and sustainable development. This project aimed to enhance the motivation, together with the qualification of the teachers in order to foster civic and citizenship education (CCE) and sustainable citizenship behavior of young people across Europe. Partners worked for developing the educational strategies and producing the tools to prepare young people as citizens and encourage them to take an active part in their school and community (linked to the horizontal priority Common values, civic engagement and participation).

Activities

We implemented all the planned activities: Management, coordination and QA -Dedicated Website which has been an highly helpful tool for coordination and dissemination - Webinar - Toolkit, including Guidelines - Competence cards of the students - Matrix ofcompetences of the teachers - European Pilot course - Mutual monitoring activities - 5 online meetings of the partners - 3 Consortium partner’s meeting (2 in presence) - 2 Multiplier events - Dissemination / exploitation, including newsletters and follow up courses.. Partners cooperated according to the planning in the Application and gave the own contribution.

Impact

- Tollkit (71 pages) including Guidelines for innovative enacted curriculum, teaching learning tools for participation and sustainable development and monitoring dtyrategies - Matrix of competences of the teachers - Competence cards of the pupils - Inclusion, improved learning by the students - stronger European understanding.
