The specific objectives of the project, as also defined in the application phase, were: - the networking of the teaching staff of the two schools and the sharing of good teaching and pedagogical practices, based on the use of digital systems and an informal approach to learning; - the networking of the students of the two schools, through a shared art history didactic path focused on the Italian Renaissance; - the inclusion of all students, regardless of cognitive or socio-economic difficulties, thanks to the digital tool and to teaching based on group work (thus implementing peer support); - the deepening and experimentation of a new didactic, based on informal and inclusive learning, connected to the direct experience and based on the activation of the students.

The project implemented the following activities: 1) History of Art 2.0: discovering the Italian Renaissance with online activities. From November 2011 to the end of March 2022, the students of the Italian school and the Slovak school were engaged in the study of some selected pieces of work of the Italian Renaissance. The activity included an online introductory lesson and the organization of some working team for the analysis of the pieces of work. The groups were transnational and worked remotely. 2) Traveling in the Renaissance: the activity envisaged, also at the suggestion of the evaluation of the INDIRE agency, the mobility of some Slovak students in Italy and the visit of the Renaissance monuments in Milan and Florence, by the Italian class involved in the project and Slovak students. 3) Digital exhibition: let's tell and share our work. The fiches of the monuments produced by the students have been translated into English and published on a site which represents a sort of digital exhibition shared between the two countries. 4) Monitoring and evaluation activities: all the activities have been monitored and evaluated through meeting and reporting activities.

The project achieved the following tangible results and outputs. Results: - greater awareness on the part of students, but also of teachers, of the common European cultural roots; - acquisition of linguistic, artistic and digital skills by students; - acquisition of new teaching approaches by teachers; - increased ability to work in international contexts on the part of students, teachers and school administrative offices; - development of a first project writing and management expertise within the Erasmus program. Outputs: - publication of the website; - production of the analysis fiches of the monuments of the Italian and Slovak Renaissance.
