โ–ถObjectives

The goals that the project wanted to achieve were many. From a scientific point of view, the definition of a methodological tool and a textbook capable of helping the teachers of the institutions involved in the definition of teaching methods and contents of the teachings focused on civic education, European civic education, digital education, and more generally aimed at strengthening transversal skills, soft skills and employability, verifying through a "living lab" approach the quality and effectiveness of the approach adopted, of course with the ultimate goal of increasing - also through international peer comparison - the added value generated for students. Second, and no less important, to foster the building of links between institutional representatives, teachers and students from the three countries involved, so as to create a community of practice ideally able to evolve and continue the project in the coming years.

โ–ถActivities

The activities carried out can be traced to three strands, which are interrelated. Scientific activity: the realization of a joint project focused on the theme of European citizenship and digital citizenship required, first of all, the realization of a comparison between the working groups of the three partners involved (Italy, Poland, Romania) on the issues at the center of the project, with an analysis of the state of the art in the three countries and at the common European level. Education: this resulted in the construction of the method and content of the educational project, which included the realization of a course dedicated to the teachers involved, in middle-high schools in the three countries, and the teaching modules activated for students, including the creation of operational tools (site, textbooks, manuals) that would allow the conduct of activities in the classroom. Dissemination: the activity of promotion and communication with the intention of increasing the visibility of the project and encouraging participation and involvement of external stakeholders.

โ–ถImpact

the project achieved several activities, which were interrelated. The scientific research activity, conducted by the project team, has led to the creation of deliverables of different nature: digital content (texts, insights, documentation, teaching tools..) that have been published on the project website and on the websites of the three project partners; the manual containing guidelines for teachers, the textbook (in the three languages - Italian, Polish, Romanian and English) intended for students. It has also made it possible to initiate the construction of a community of practice and innovators in which representatives and teachers from the educational institutions involved, the experts who contributed to the definition of the content, representatives of local institutions that were involved, and the hundreds of students in the three countries who participated, actively confronting each other, deepening and producing original content in the form of reports, articles, project sheets, audio-video presentations, and news disseminated also through social networks.
