Our aim was to create a more harmonized and strengthened capacity within HEIs to actively participate in the Green Transition. In particular, we aimed at raising awareness across all members of the academic community about their potential roles in fostering sustainability and equipping them with the necessary tools to contribute to such effort. Through a series of targeted educational and training initiatives, the project aimed to enhance awareness and engagement at various levels. This ranged from developing students’ green skills and preparing them for opportunities in the growing green jobs market, to driving systemic change within participating institutions by fostering innovative learning and teaching practices. These practices were intended to integrate sustainability into the core of academic and operational frameworks, ensuring a lasting impact across all levels of the organizations involved.
