โ–ถObjectives

The project was designed with the aim of achieving: 1) a better mutual knowledge between the partners and of the contexts of intervention; 2) a better capacity to collaborate at transnational/European level and to interact with the policymakers; 3) an effective exchange of knowledge, skills and experience to design better interventions for the final target group (children of prisoners). For the participating organisations, this project represented a valuable opportunity to access the European dimension and to create and strengthen synergies with the civil society organisations and policy-makers belonging to each partner's networks, which are fundamental requirements for achieving the objectives of inclusion and non-discrimination of the target group. The comparative analysis of the two contexts and of the different approaches adopted in the response given by each institution to the target group's needs allowed a mutual comparison and growth, favoring the collaborative development of a project proposal concerning the protection of the rights of the daughters and sons of detained persons to be submitted to possible funders.
