▶Objectives
The main achievement of the project is a specific STEAM curriculum in the native languages of ethnic minorities involved in this project. This includes a handbook for educators in different European languages (English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Lithuanian, Ukrainian, Russian, French), 18 lesson plans (English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Lithuanian, Ukrainian, Russian, French, German) Project's partnership involving schools, STEAM centres & institutions in the development of digital resources developed an educational platform (missionsteam.eu) and ensured more teacher resources are provided and accessible, in both content and pedagogical knowledge. This will support primary school teachers in bringing innovation to their STEAM classes. Another great achievement is that project reached many a high number of student with ethnic minority background from around the world (USA, Argentina, Singapore, United Kingdom, Austria, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Sweden, Oman, Finland, Norway etc)
▶Activities
To achieve the project's aims and objectives, the partnership undertook the following activities: 1. Development of Results: 1.1. A handbook for teachers was developed in various European languages 1.2. A STEAM curriculum comprising 18 lesson plans, including presentations, teacher's notes, and audio records of lessons - 1.3. The missionsteam.eu platform, where interested parties can log in and download lessons in available languages. 2. Transnational Meetings: To coordinate the progress of the implemented activities. 3. Multiplier Events: To achieve a greater impact through the use of STEAM methodology. 4. Dissemination Events: Including online events to promote project outcomes. 5. Online Activities: 5.1 Online partner meetings complementing transnational meetings. 5.2. Online lesson for students with ethnic minority background around the world. 6. Learning and Teaching Activities: To train teachers on how to apply the MISSION STEAM lesson plans.
