โ–ถActivities

The decision to apply for this project was prompted by the massive impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on education, which has affected teachers, students, parents and the wider community. The rapid shift to distance learning has revealed gaps in teachers' digital literacy skills and adaptation to online teaching methods. In 2021, a consortium of six schools will be formed, which will include three entities providing educational services. The pandemic highlighted that while teachers had essential digital competencies, it was often difficult to create assignments individually and go beyond the use of traditional tools such as PowerPoint presentations. In addition, the crisis revealed the reluctance of educators to share and disseminate digital resources. Remote work has shown that teachers need to further develop their digital competences, especially in creating engaging and effective digital learning materials. This project aimed to address these challenges and gaps. By focusing on these goals, the project addressed many of the digital literacy gaps among teachers, fostered collaboration in the development of digital resources, and implemented effective assessment tools in the context of evolving educational technologies.

โ–ถImpact

The platform https://digit-learn.eu/lt/ was created, which combines all three results of the project: Training Format https://digit-learn.eu/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/DigitLearn-Training-Format_%CE%95%CE%9D.pdf Toolkit https://elearn.digit-learn.eu/ The assessment system is based on the open source learning management system MOODLE and has a fun web design that allows the platform to be accessed from all devices (computers, tablets, smartphones, projectors, etc.). The platform is multilingual, so all the training materials (lesson plans, interactive activities, self-assessment) were created and uploaded to the platform in all partner languages (English, Lithuanian, Finnish, Romanian, Greek, Italian, Turkish). The platform has a user-friendly design and navigation that allows teachers and students with less digital skills to access the system. The Moodle learning management system allows you to measure the knowledge acquired by students through interactive activities, online quizzes, self-assessment and tests. Promotion of Digital Education: The project actively promoted the use of digital and virtual means in school education, fostering innovative teaching approaches.
