The objectives of implementing the project were multi-faceted. Firstly, the project aimed to equip teachers and trainers with innovative pedagogical tools, enhancing their capabilities to effectively teach Multimodal Literacy. Secondly, the project sought to raise awareness of Multimodal Literacy, emphasizing its importance in the contemporary educational landscape. Within the classroom environment, the primary goal was to teach students Multimodal Literacy skills using the most innovative tools and methods available, fostering a comprehensive understanding of communication in a multimodal world. Additionally, the project aimed to cultivate critical thinking among students, specifically in their interpretation of messages conveyed through various media forms. It aspired to enable students to analyze complex multimodal texts and provide them with skills and models to approach such texts from a critical perspective. Furthermore, the project had the objective of assisting students in understanding challenging scientific concepts and enhancing their ability to create graphics, leveraging the cognitive benefits associated with Multimodal Literacy.

Srednja škola Ban Josip Jelačić acknowledged the benefits of Multimodal Literacy for students but identified a need for innovative methodologies and tools to effectively teach these skills. 3. iTEACH ITL was an institution actively involved in school education that aimed to increase the quality of education by strengthening existing programs with innovative methodologies. 4. Educademy, a training institution in the field of Media Literacy, joined the project to address the need for materials that could be used in the realm of Multimodal Literacy. 5. SC Psihoforworld, an institution working with disadvantaged students, recognized the benefits of Multimodal Literacy for their target audience. However, they highlighted problems with the competence of the institution's staff and educators. 6. Fundacja wanted to increase both the quality and quantity of these studies.

The project has successfully generated concrete outputs and results, each contributing to the project's overarching goal of promoting Multimodal Literacy in educational settings: 1. Multimodal Mindset in The Classroom: The Education Format: This comprehensive educational resource provides content to empower teachers in enabling students to acquire Multimodal Literacy skills within the multimodal and digital world. The focus on increasing the competence of teachers and trainers in this field ensures that educators are well-equipped to effectively teach Multimodal Literacy, contributing to a more robust educational environment. 2. Multimodal Literacy Tool Kit: This tool kit represents a tangible outcome that supports the research-based education format obtained in R1. It serves as a practical guide for teachers and trainers, offering tools, methodologies, and resources to facilitate the integration of Multimodal Literacy into their teaching practices. 3. Multimodal Mindset Web Portal: The web portal serves as a centralized and accessible online platform, offering content related to Multimodal Literacy. It encompasses the educational format, the Multimodal Literacy Tool Kit, and additional resources.
