REBIRTH OUR EARTH

We applied for the 'REBIRTH' project because we recognize the critical importance of addressing human-induced climate change, a global issue with far-reaching consequences. The need to engage youth in environmental initiatives is crucial, as they are the future stewards of our planet. By involving young people in the 'REBIRTH' project, we aimed to empower them to become active participants in the fight against climate change and environmental degradation. REBIRTH has been driven by a commitment to promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices among young people, as well as building capacity and fostering collaboration among organizations to address the urgent issue of climate change. By focusing on promoting the protection and conservation of the environment, we aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and stewardship among young learners, empowering them to take action to safeguard the planet's future. Through these efforts, we wanted to inspire a new generation of environmentally conscious individuals who will contribute to a more sustainable future.

The overarching goal of our project was to foster a lasting impact by inspiring and equipping young individuals to become environmental champions within their communities. We aimed to achieve this by promoting environmental protection and sustainability among the youth. Our strategy involved educating them about cleaner energy sources and cutting-edge technology, thereby empowering them to make informed decisions that minimize their environmental footprint. We endeavored to instill a strong set of environmental values and attitudes in young people, cultivating a sense of responsibility and stewardship towards the environment. This was done through a series of interactive workshops, field trips, and hands-on activities designed to engage and educate our young participants. In addition, we sought to establish a European network among organizations, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing to bolster environmental efforts. This network served as a platform for exchanging best practices, innovative ideas, and successful strategies, thereby enhancing the collective impact of our environmental initiatives.

Our project implementation encompassed a diverse range of activities, all designed to foster collaboration, enhance knowledge sharing, and achieve our project objectives. -We initiated our project with four international meetings, each hosted by a different partner country. -we held regular online meetings which served as a platform for us to evaluate completed tasks, discuss challenges, and make decisions about upcoming events and activities. -To enhance our project's visibility and reach, we developed a dedicated website and a Facebook page. -We produced 5 newsletters , two 'Rebirth' booklets , 12 educational presentations on various topics related to environmental protection and renewable energy. -We conducted pre and post-surveys among the youth. -we collaborated with several organizations, including the Kaunas Cogeneration Plant, Kaunas Regional Waste Management Centre, the waste sorting plant of the Public Enterprise RATC, Aydın Directorate of Agriculture, and the Directorate of National Parks. -Keeping the youth at the center of our project, we also involved them in the creation of awareness-raising videos. -We organized multiplier events. These events were aimed at sharing our project's results with a larger audience
