The project had two main objectives: to promote the use of intergenerational education in schools and pre-schools; and to promote the social inclusion and well-being of seniors. It should be noted that when we developed this project we wanted the organisations involved to talk more and cooperate more in the intergenerational field. Definitely, we see a significant synergy provided by the collaboration between the coordinating organization, the organizations representing children and the organizations representing seniors. During the project we developed a short guide summarising 6 different methods how joint activities for seniors and children can be organised. The organisations representing seniors and children also benefited a lot from the project as they had the opportunity to go on exchange visits and then put this experience into practice in the local community. In total, 12 activities were organised and carried out by each organisation in the local community, involving a significant number of seniors and a significant number of children. The seniors who took part in the most challenging phase of the project, international volunteering, also benefited. This process was challenging for all organisations.

Overall, the project had the following achievements: 1. more than 18 representatives of different institutions involved in the education of seniors and children participated in the experience exchange activities. 2. A manual was produced which includes 6 different methods which were presented during the exchange visits. 3. A total of more than 48 colleagues from the coordinating organisations, invited guests and other experts have participated in the knowledge transfer activities; 4. Local intergenerational activities took place a total of 36 times in all three countries. These activities involved senior volunteers, pre-school children, clients of social care centres and volunteers. 5. International Senior Intergenerational Volunteering - a total of 12 seniors enjoyed intergenerational volunteering abroad in Bucharest (Romania), Palermo (Italy), Gulbene (Latvia). In total, each volunteering mobility took place over 10 days. 6. Dissemination activity, which took place at the end of January 2023 in Stamerien. More than 50 people participated in this event, the results of the project were presented, the participants' experiences were shared and different people's stories were shared.
