Objectives

The main objective of this project was to improve recruitment and selection capacities in the PS sector with respect to equality and diversification, and create positive climate for inclusive workforce. The primal goal was to educate selected staff from the PS companies in partner countries on how to become successful recruiters for inclusive labour force. Hence, this project had produced around 805 certified internal corporate level recruiters specialized for inclusive private security and 100 Sourcing specialists for diversified private security staffing. The second objective was to improve the quality of the advisory process in National Agency for Employment to identify diversified candidates and candidates with fewer opportunities for job in the PS sector. The project was use the learned skills and recruit 400 candidates from groups of unemployed individuals with fewer opportunities (Roma, socially marginalised, single-parenting families etc.) for whom project partners will arrange employment in the PS companies, members in their organizations.

Activities

The project carred out a Study on the human capital practices in Private Security. Grounded on this research, the project created: Educational program for Private Security HR Professionals; Learning System for Recruitment and Selection of Employees in Private Security as an innovative curriculum and instructions; Comprehensive Guidebook on Effective HR Practices for the Private Security (named “Quality Workforce”) and Strategic Framework for HR Competences in Private Security. The project had carried out training for private security employees and other professionals for recruitment and selection, thus this project had contributed for acquiring and improvement of the skills and competences in the field of equality and diversification, inclusion, human resource management, with focus on the process of recruitment and selection of candidates with fewer opportunities for employment.

Impact

The project resulted with a systematic approach to the Private security (PS) sector in the field of improving and extending the high quality training opportunities and empowering people through the acquisition of new skills in the field of inclusive employment, diversified workforce and equal opportunities for work and training for people with barriers based on ethnicity, religion, education etc. The concrete outputs of the project were: (1) Study on the human capital practices in Private Security; (2) Educational program for private security recruitment professionals, (3) Learning System for Recruitment and Selection of Employees in Private Security as an innovative curriculum and instructions and learning materials, (4) Comprehensive Guidebook on inclusive human resource practices for the private security "Quality workforce" and (5) Strategic Framework for HR competences in Private Security.
