▶Objectives
Our objectives were: 1. To create a dedicated adult learners' community of Dutch and Hungarian people, in which ongoing dialogue, long-term community learning, and co-created, progressive community initiatives can be born. 2. To strengthen the long-term, strategic cooperation between HCAF and Jánoshida Municipality around conscious ageing and conscious living, that is inclusive to all members of the communities around these organisations. 3. To support ageing individuals and communities to improve their digital skills, literacy and wellness in order to support the success of their active, healthy and autonomous ageing, as well as their long term capacities to remain active and contributing members of their communities in a digital world.
▶Activities
- Set up a consciously ageing adult learning community and ecosystem of individuals speaking Dutch and/or Hungarian and/or English - Developed a training structure and methodology system for active/healthy ageing. This is developed in a way that it is suitable for very different audiences in terms of economic, social, geographical, and cultural backgrounds. Also, some of these learning methodologies can respond to the fact that many people with care duties (children, elderly) have very limited time to spare for learning and must be online as they are unable to leave their homes to study. - Tried and tested several teaching methodologies and communication tools to reach diverse communities. By the end of the project we have a clear(er) understanding of what works well and what not. We also identified approaches that we believe would work but need more time and work to mainstream them to the learning communities. These are eg. digital solutions, learning tools, and community development tools as well. - Strengthened the cooperation between HCAF and JM and established the European Conscious Ageing Network - A lot of impact assessment, testing and feedback requests for further development of the program.
