▶Objectives
TThrough the project, the consortium sought to achieve several objectives: 1. Foster biodiversity preservation in rural and maritime areas of European islands. 2. Provide high-quality learning opportunities for farmers, shepherds, and fishermen in biodiversity preservation. 3. Develop user-friendly digital tools to support these stakeholders in preserving biodiversity in their daily work.
▶Activities
Partners implemented transnational focus group, pilotings for both results R1 and R2 with the involvement of adults learners, they organized international conference for Biodiversity day, and each partner organized multiplier events in order to promote project and its results to multiple stakeholders.
▶Impact
PROJECT RESULTS INCLUDE A COMPREHENSIVE RESEARCH REPORT ON BIODIVERSITY STATUS AND UP-SKILL NEEDS, AS WELL AS A WEB PLATFORM WITH E-LEARNING COURSES TAILORED TO AGRICULTURE, PASTORALISM, AND FISHERY BIODIVERSITY. INTANGIBLE OUTCOMES INCLUDE RAISING AWARENESS, ADOPTION OF PROJECT RESULTS BY VARIOUS ENTITIES, AND THE CONSOLIDATION OF A COOPERATION FRAMEWORK FOR ONGOING INITIATIVES AND INFORMATION EXCHANGE AMONG STAKEHOLDERS.
