โถObjectives
During the Green Step project, the partnership aimed to achieve the following objectives: 1. Raise awareness about the necessity of forward-looking curricula and teaching methods for non-formal adult education, specifically designed to address contemporary environmental and climate challenges. 2. Conduct experiments with new sustainable learning approaches and validated them through empirical means. 3. Tested innovative practices that had the potential to transform both adult educators and learners, particularly those with migrant backgrounds, into environmentally conscious agents of change. 4. Advocate for a flexible, localized learning program tailored to the specific educational needs of adults, including migrants, focusing on environmental sustainability, climate change, and inner behavioral transformations. 5. Engaged the broader adult education community and local sustainability stakeholders, such as local learning centers, civil society organizations, NGOs, and public authorities, to support learners, particularly those with migrant backgrounds, in their transition toward greener economies and societies. This support included equipping them with skills for green jobs and encouraging the adoption of sustainable lifestyles.
