▶Objectives
The ETN4VET project and network aimed to narrow the skill gap between e-Transport, VET education, and labor market needs. Here are the key objectives and activities: • Upskilling VET Teachers: The project focuses on continuous development of VET teachers' competence in e-transport education by sharing the latest knowledge and educational methodologies. • Strengthening Work-Life Cooperation: By improving network analysis and networking skills, the project enhances cooperation between VET organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders in the e-transport sector. • Building a European VET Providers' Network: ETN4VET establishes and maintains a strong European network of VET providers specializing in e-transport. This network supports the rapid development of e-transport education. • Studying and Networking Events: The project plans and organizes Learning, Teaching, and Training Activities (LTTAs) to address relevant questions in e-Transport. • Student and Staff Mobility Programs: ETN4VET aims to create a network that facilitates qualitative student and staff mobility programs. Overall, the project seeked to optimize cooperation, build trust, and accelerate the adoption of VET education in the e-transport field.
▶Activities
The execution of the ETN4VET project plan has resulted in 3 physical and 8 online LTTA’s (Study and Networking Events) between November 2021 and May 2024. Each of the 3 physical LTTA/SNE existed of the following activities: • Welcome and presentation of the host organization • Calculation of carbon footprint produced by traveling • School tour • Presentation of the e-Transport network of the host organisation • SWOT analysis about the e-Transport network of the host organisation • Excursion to ‘e-mobility partner company • Presentations and studying best practice teaching material & methodology used by the host organisation. • Finding answers on FAQ • Training ‘How to improve my networking skills?’ • Workshop ‘How to put SWOT into action? • Presentation and studying best practice teaching material & methodology of one of the other partner organisations • Finding answers on FAQ • Cultural program. Each of the 8 online LTTA’s/SNE’s (in which 8 partner organisation presented themselves and their EV education methodology and materials) existed of the following activities: • Sharing of new/interesting e-Transport developments • Presentation of used e-Transport teaching materials and methodology • Presentation of a business partner about a new development in e-Transport technology • Q&A • A few partners also included an online school tour. Recordings of the events including used presentations and participant lists are shared in the ETN4VET 4 Friends MS TEAMS platform. To be able to execute this project in the most effective way, resulting in the most valuable outcomes, the Steering Board (SB) - with representatives of each partner - has had 3 physical TPM/SB meetings and 8 online SB meetings in which the organisation and progress of the project were discussed. In order to let other relevant stakeholders - outside the consortium - profit from the ETN4VET project and its results, several dissemination activities have been executed during the project period.
