The VOW project had two main objectives: 1. Promoting Awareness of Women’s Musical Works: This involved familiarizing higher education students, music and art audiences, and the general public with compositions by women. Through institution-wide efforts, including the performance, analysis, research, and dissemination of the VOW repertory, the project aimed to foster inclusivity and recognize all voices as equal contributors to the artistic canon. 2. Creating a VOW Network and Roadmap: The project established an international "Voices of Women" network, anchored by participating higher education staff and students who acted as “agents of change” to expand the network across disciplines and countries. A "Roadmap for the Promotion of Voices of Women" was created to document the project's activities, provide guidance for future actions in the form of recommendations for practitioners and policy-makers, and to ensure the network's sustainability beyond the Erasmus+ project.
