▶Objectives
The CSR4T project aims to achieve several key objectives centered on advancing sustainable tourism and fostering innovation within the VET sector. Our primary goal was to help tourism businesses align with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by embracing the principles of CSR. This includes making these businesses more responsive to internal issues such as people management, diversity, equality, inclusion, and physical and mental well-being, as well as external emergencies like climate change and environmental pressures. Additionally, the project seek to contribute to VET innovation by adopting co-creation principles and engaging direct and indirect beneficiaries (tourism businesses, CSR consultants, and trainers) in the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs. This approach aims to enhance transversal, digital, and green skills. We also focus on CSR training processes among tourism MSMEs to improve acceptance and adoption, facilitating impactful actions transferable across Europe. The project strives to develop a new operative model for C-VET of experts, trainers, and consultants, promoting CSR principles in the tourism sector. We ensured active involvement of final users in producing market-driven results
▶Activities
In our project, we implemented a structured framework comprising four phases, each with specific activities aimed at achieving project objectives: Planning Phase: This initial phase focused on establishing a viable partnership and laying down administrative foundations. Key activities included signing grant agreements, setting up project management structures, organizing a kick-off meeting, and defining core team assignments. Management and Coordination Phase: During this phase, we concentrated on managing and coordinating project activities effectively. This involved networking with stakeholders, facilitating communication channels, conducting consultations, organizing events, creating quality plans, mitigating risks, and ensuring transparent documentation through an online system. Executing Phase: This phase centered on implementing the project's core outcomes. Activities included conducting desk research, preparing frameworks, hosting online workshops, defining competencies, developing e-learning toolkits, piloting training programs, adjusting content based on stakeholder feedback, and validating workshop outcomes. Additionally, policy recommendations were developed through online collaboration and guideline formulation. Sharing and Promotion Phase: In the final phase, we disseminated and promoted project results to a wider audience. This involved various dissemination activities such as sharing outcomes, engaging stakeholders, and promoting the relevance and utility of project results through targeted communication and promotional efforts.
