▶Objectives
The RE.MIND project aims to shift the perception of entrepreneurship from merely running a business to developing a broad set of competencies applicable in all life areas. It seeks to integrate this concept into school curricula, aiding teachers in fostering entrepreneurial skills in VET students. Targeting 120 students and 30 teachers in Norway, Italy, Spain, Greece, and France, the project blends theoretical and practical components, bridging business and education. It involves students as participants and feedback providers, with teachers as facilitators, benefiting VET providers, SMEs managers, and policymakers, and ensuring transferable outcomes across the EU.
▶Activities
Over a 30 month period in addition to project management, quality assessment and dissemination, did we produce four different project results: Skills model based on surveys of students, teachers and social entrepreneurs, Psychological test of soft skills, A training notebook (tool box) for teachers with training of some selected teachers, and five different training modules for teachers, students and social entrepreneurs. We also arranged multiplier events.
▶Impact
Teachers gained enhanced knowledge in teaching students soft skills for social entrepreneurship, supported by concrete lesson plans. Students became more aware of their own skills and had the opportunity to improve them through training modules. All these resources are available to everyone in the six project languages (English, French, Italian, Greek, Spanish, and Norwegian).
