▶Objectives
The project involved conducting study visits in each of the 4 partner countries among organizations in the VET sector. Based on the experiences and good practices gained through this, as well as on the research carried out in the project, it was possible to develop 5 reports containing recommendations related to the inclusion of people with disabilities in mobility projects. Each report addressed a separate area of the implementation of foreign mobility and supporting people with disabilities in the labor market. The reports referred to the requirements and needs of, among others: Employers (hosting organizations), Accompanying persons (supervisors during mobility), Sending organizations (vocational schools), Inclusive procedures in mobility projects with particular emphasis on the pre-mobility phase (preparations for the mobility). The last report contained as well a summary and analysis of good examples from other projects. The good examples contained recommendations for the inclusion of people with disabilities in vocational activities.
▶Activities
The main objective of the project was to strengthen sending, hosting, and intermediary organizations in the implementation of inclusive vocational education activities for students with disabilities from technical schools. This goal combined the requirements of the labor market (through the participation of hosting and intermediary organizations) with the possibilities of the vocational education sector. The project responded to the needs of partner institutions related to the desire to provide greater support for vocational activity among young people with disabilities. The project was implemented to share good practices, strengthen cooperation, and also sensitize other entities (including visited hosting organizations and companies, as well as sending participants of foreign vocational internships) to the needs and possibilities of people with disabilities. The project helped to facilitate the implementation of mobility projects by partners, supporting organizations, and other institutions that received access to the results developed within its framework
