By implementing the SeniorVlog project, we aimed to improve the digital inclusion of older adults by equipping them with skills to actively engage in social media as vloggers. We wanted to address the digital divide that left many seniors excluded from opportunities for connection, self-expression, and cognitive stimulation. The project focused on empowering seniors to confidently use technology and share their stories, passions, and expertise through vlogging. We developed the innovative SeniorVlog Training and Mentoring Program, incorporating gamification elements and personalized mentoring to make learning engaging and accessible. Our goal was to enable seniors to create meaningful content and build self-confidence. Additionally, we aimed to equip adult educators with new skills to support seniors effectively in their digital journey. By doing so, we sought to promote social inclusion, challenge stereotypes about aging, and highlight the value of senior voices in online communities. Ultimately, the project intended to enhance the well-being, independence, and active participation of seniors in modern digital spaces.
