End of Disaster: Undoing Crisis. Active Tutors Open to Reflective Education (EDUCATORE)

We wanted to assess the needs, test tools and solutions, and provide pathways for building well-being-conscious, resilient HE. We wanted to increase our internationalization capacity whilst creating ready recipes for fostering the well-being and resilience of teachers, social workers, academic teachers and students to cascade the effects of our project.

We carried out international survey for mapping the needs of teachers, academic teachers and students in 4 countries: Poland, Romania, Croatia and Belgium. We wanted to see if there are any significant differences between the countries. We organized 2 interprofessional international training events for students and tutors from 4 countries, one in Warsaw and one in Oradea, during which we mapped the needs and tested tools that help to address them. Based on the survey results and research in action that took place during the international events we developed joint curriculum proposal, research report, 2 academic articles and 2 edited volumes gathering knowledge relevant to our project. In the implementation, we organized 4 PMU meetings in Belgium and Croatia and a number of meetings online. We translated the reports and curriculum to 7 languages. We also organized the main international conference (multiplier event) and 4 national dissemination events. As value added we managed to organize 2 more international conferences and participated in 3 conferences to present the results of our project. Participating entities use the curriculum materials for innovating their teaching and learning practices, enriching courses' contents.

All planned results R1,R2,R3,R4,R5 were achieved. We published 2 peer-reviewed open-access articles presenting the project results. The project information was included in 6 international conference programmes and related books of abstracts. Additionally, we published 2 peer-reviewed Edited Volumes due to the main international conference we organized at the end of the project. Both books are available in print and as open-access PDFs published in the UNESCO Chair's series. We prepared a research report available on the project website in 7 languages and a proposed course curriculum, also available in 7 languages. The curriculum has been used and implemented in a new facultative subject offered at Maria Grzegorzewska University to Polish and Erasmus exchange students. As value-added we managed to present project results in North Africa, chose a reputable educational Turkish journal to expand our reach Eastwards and translated the second article into Croatian so it is available not only in English but also in Croatian expanding the reach to Croatian teachers. Our project was visible in multipole newsletters of international associations and discussed during network meetings, eg. ISA RC25, ESA RN10, IKA, CREAN, Polish Educational Research Association, and UniTwin UNESCO. Our conference and international events gained the patronage of UNICEF Polska and the Polish Commission for UNESCO.
