Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 incident, higher education institutions have faced different challenges in their teaching-learning activities. Particularly conducting assessments remotely during COVID-19 has posed extraordinary challenges for higher education institutions owing to a lack of preparation superimposed with the inherent problems of remote assessment. The main objective of the project was to provide a well-tested, secured, quality assurance path for students to take exams remotely. There was a clear need for capacity building and sustaining “new ways of working”, such as increased interdisciplinary cooperation between universities and with external stakeholders, and innovative ways to foster research communication. Technology does not just change methods of teaching and learning, it can also elevate the role of teachers from imparting received knowledge to working as co-creators of knowledge, coaches, mentors, and evaluators. The project aims to make the most out of simple, popular, and cost-free dissemination means, such as digital newsletters, posts on websites and social media, articles in local printed and/or digital newspapers, blogs, university news, etc.
