Introducing Epidemic Safe Tourism (post-COVID recovery) to strengthen SMEs in the Hospitality Sector

The recovery of tourism worldwide after the COVID-19 pandemic means more cautious and safer tourism. After COVID-19, tourists will have to travel to places where it is easy to maintain social distancing and be aware of the restrictions, protocols and everything related to safe travel after COVID. After the pandemic, new digital technologies have emerged that are used in the hospitality sector in the context of applying health safety and social distancing procedures. All the above health safety protocols together with the new digitalized services used and offered in the hospitality sector should protect against COVID-19 and future epidemic crises. The ESTour project has allowed the development of a new qualification profile according to EQF level 5, a training program, a blended learning VET course and a certification scheme that will contribute to the certification of skills, knowledge and competences of a health and safety expert in the hospitality industry after the COVID-19 epidemic (ESTour expert). ESTour expert will contribute to more holistic management, operations and marketing, helping hospitality SMEs survive in the new era of post-COVID tourism.

Projekt ESTour ma na celu szkolenie i certyfikację osób, które pracowały w sektorze hotelarskim (menedżerów i pracowników na różnych stanowiskach, głównie w MŚP z branży hotelarskiej) i chciałyby zaktualizować swoje umiejętności, ale także możliwości zatrudnienia, związane z nowymi protokołami bezpieczeństwa zdrowotnego i nowymi technologiami cyfrowymi w odniesieniu do skutecznego reagowania na skutki kryzysów epidemicznych. Ekspert ESTour będzie w stanie zrozumieć, przestrzegać i stosować nowe protokoły bezpieczeństwa wprowadzone na szczeblu międzynarodowym, ale także na poziomie krajowym, a także być świadomym nowych technologii cyfrowych, które ułatwiają działanie MŚP z branży hotelarskiej w czasach kryzysów epidemicznych w celu stosowania praktyk bezpieczeństwa zdrowotnego i dystansu społecznego. Głównym celem eksperta ESTour jest umiejętność pracy na poziomie operacyjnym, a mianowicie prowadzenie planu operacyjnego poprzez tworzenie i wdrażanie protokołów i wytycznych dla personelu, przekwalifikowywanie i monitorowanie personelu w zakresie kontroli zakażeń, dystansu fizycznego i środków higieny oraz wiedza, jak korzystać z nowych technologii cyfrowych w celu wdrażania dystansu społecznego klientów podczas kryzysów epidemi.
