THE OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT was to improve the quality of vocational education by developing tools for vocational teachers, school principals, and workshop managers that support the cooperation of schools with the socio-economic environment. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES of the project included: 1. Improving quality assurance in VET by appointing a leader for external cooperation within the vocational school, 2. Contributing to innovation in the VET field by introducing an attractive training programme tailored to the individual needs and expectations of participants, 3. Expanding the VET offer with a comprehensive educational programme enabling school staff to acquire competences in cooperation with the external environment, 4. Increasing the attractiveness of education through the implementation of distance learning, thereby supporting the digital development of school staff, 5. Enabling course participants to confirm (validate and certify) acquired competences remotely. As a result of the implemented activities, a comprehensive system was developed to support vocational schools in effective cooperation with their environment and in the development of competences necessary for delivering modern vocational education.

As part of the project, 6 key actions were implemented, forming a coherent whole that addressed the identified needs of VET: 1. A profile of professional competences was developed for the role of “Coordination of cooperation between VET and external companies, including acquisition of sponsors.” It laid the foundation for further activities and defined key learning outcomes. 2. A modular training programme aligned with ECVET requirements was created, enabling the development of competences essential for leading school–environment cooperation. 3. A set of educational packages was prepared – for trainers and trainees – enabling the delivery of sessions in both in-person and online formats. 4. An e-learning course was launched in five languages, enhancing participants’ vocational and digital skills. 5. A test bank was developed to assess initial competence levels and support individual learning paths. 6. Validation and certification procedures were created, allowing remote confirmation of outcomes, including those gained outside formal education. All actions followed the principle of job-relevant skills, aligning VET with labour market needs and supporting EU recommendations on recognising non-formal and informal learning.

Project results included: -A profile of professional competences “Coordination of cooperation between VET and external companies, including acquisition of sponsors.” The profile includes 5 professional tasks corresponding to modular units. -A modular training programme aligned with ECVET requirements – enabling the implementation of new content in vocational education. -A set of 5 educational packages for trainers and participants – teaching tools for conducting both in-person and remote training. -An e-learning course covering the newly defined competence. -A test bank for diagnosing competence levels and individualising the learning process. -Procedures for validation and certification of professional competences. The results were made available in 5 language (PL, GB, ES, DK, GR). Soft results: increased competences of 1174 seminar participants and 138 international conference participants, development of digital skills among teaching staff, enhanced capacity of schools to cooperate with their environment, and the promotion of modern teaching methods in VET. The project supported the recognition of learning outcomes acquired outside the formal education system and the adaptation of vocational education to labour market needs.
