HACK-IT: Hackathon e Metodologias Inovadoras no Ensino Superior
▶Summary
Given the experience and specificity of each institution in tackling the pandemic problems that have affected society in general and education in particular, the project partners (IPB, KTU, Haaga-Helia, UGR) recognized the importance of sharing experiences and challenges that each institution had faced prior to the project. This was the driving force behind successfully tackling the obstacles identified, which remained at the start of the project. The HACK-IT project aimed to create a network of partnerships that, through a community of practice (CoP), could facilitate and ensure the digital readiness of stakeholders and be used to deliver online courses, hackathons, and other activities. To this end, it was important for teachers to participate in “learning, teaching and training activities” and use “specific digital scenarios for innovative courses”. The CoP made it possible to strengthen partnerships and resources that were used sustainably by HEI teachers in line with the EU skills agenda, the Digital Education Action Plan, and the European Education Area. At the end of the project, it should be emphasized that all the project results confirm that the initial objectives were important and clearly achieved.
