▶Objectives
Education for Citizenship 3.0 is a project that contributed to the quality improvement of the cooperation between formal and non formal educational actors towards the development of youth and education sectors. It aimed at: - 1) Strengthening the cooperation between formal and non formal sector improving its quality (more inclusive and democratic school); - 2) Empowerment of young people/students through the motivation to be engaged in problem solving in the school and community (with focus on Participation in society: predisposition to participate, affinity to citizenship values, Self- Efficacy for participation); - 3) Development of an international network and strategies between non governmental organizations and schools to develop education for Sustainable Development Goals and active citizenship (with focus on Environmental Responsibility: Valuing the adoption of sustainable and protective behaviors of nature and Self-responsibility for environmental prevention). - 4) Guarantee mobility and learning opportunities to students and adults that promote the development of competences and the improvement of the quality of the educational system and the transformation of the governance of school into a more democratic one.
